The 3500/15 power supply modules are half-height modules that must be installed in designated slots on the left side of the 3500 rack. A single 3500 rack can accommodate either one or two power supplies, with various combinations of AC and DC options. Each individual supply is capable of powering a full rack.

When two power supplies are installed, the one in the lower slot acts as the primary supply, and the one in the upper slot functions as the backup supply. This redundant configuration ensures uninterrupted operation, as the backup supply seamlessly takes over if the primary fails. What's more, you can hot-swap these modules without disrupting the rack's operation, provided a second power supply is installed.
